FFO Home Stores in Jefferson City and Columbia has been purchased by American Freight and will be rebranded as American Freight Furniture, Mattress and Appliance. The Jefferson City store is at 2010 Missouri Blvd. An already-existing American Freight Furniture and Mattress at 2233 Missouri Blvd. which opened in October 2019 will continue to operate. FFO Home filed for bankruptcy in 2020.

On the last Friday of the month from March-October, local food trucks come together for a night of delicious food and live music. Food trucks include Rebel Tacos, Zydecos Cajun Kitchen, Wrap It Up, Young Doggs, Ready Popped and Serendipity Coffee and Tea. River City Florist will be there with the flower cart, and you can enjoy live music from ToasterBath Band.

For the 15th year, the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors will host a 5K run to benefit the Council for Drug Free Youth. This year’s race begins and ends at North Jefferson City Pavilion.
