Celebrate Jefferson City's south side German heritage. The Old Munichberg Association will be hosting a "mini" Oktoberfest Picnic celebration. Activities include craft and food vendors, baked goods, beer and bratwurst, and the Mid-Mo Old Car Club show. Due to safety restrictions, there will be no live music/main stage events, Kids' Corner, or Dachshund Derby at this year's festival.

A free evening of artwork displayed at various locations around Jefferson City. A map will be available for pick-up prior to the event at all participating locations.

Missouri State Penitentiary

This is an overnight investigation with the team from the Missouri State Penitentiary. Doors will open at 7:30 pm, Investigations start at 10:00 pm and end at 3:00 am. Each person registered will also receive a free t-shirt and a cinch bag backpack. Come investigate with those that know MSP best - the tour staff! $100 per person. Spaces will be limited to the first 75 people. Minimum age 18 years old (no exceptions).

The 11th annual Race To The Dome, presented by Missouri American Water is a charity canoe & kayak race on the Missouri River for paddlers young and old, experienced or a beginner, to benefit Missouri River Relief. Get your team together and register today! Two race courses are available to paddlers - Hartsburg to Jefferson City (15.8 miles) or Providence to Jefferson City (27.6 miles). 

Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City is combining two “fun fundraisers” (Chili Cook Off and Cornhole Tournament) on Thursday, October 15, at the Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds. The Chili Cook Off is scheduled for 5-7:30 p.m. and the Cornhole Tournament begins at 6 p.m. (with team registration 5-5:45 p.m.).
